How to Link Discord to the CMS

Quick Answer

Open Discord Link from your profile/Pilot menu and follow the displayed linking steps so the CMS can match your pilot to your Discord account.

Discord linking tells the CMS which Discord account belongs to your EVE pilot. This is important for role sync, HelpBot support, staff messages, onboarding, and future fleet/logistics notifications.

Basic flow:

1. Log in to the CMS with your EVE character.
2. Open your Profile or the Discord link section.
3. Generate or copy your CMS link code.
4. Go to the corp Discord server.
5. Use the /link command and paste the code when the bot asks for it.
6. Return to the CMS and refresh your profile/checklist.

If you linked Discord during the application process, your provisional checklist may already count this step as complete.

If the /link command fails, check that you are in the correct Discord server, copied the full code, and are using the same EVE character/account you used for the CMS. If it still fails, ask staff and include your CMS character name and Discord display name.

Never post private API keys, account passwords, or one-time login codes in public channels. Staff may ask for your character name or a screenshot of an error, but they should not need your EVE password.

New Pilot Guidance

Discord linking lets the website and ChannelBot know which Discord member belongs to your EVE pilot. It does not give the bot access to your EVE password.
