Using The Syndicates Price Check: Order Book & Immediate Pricing
Immediate Sell walks current buy-order price levels for your full quantity. Immediate Buy walks current sell-order levels. A partial fill warning means the selected hub does not currently have enough visible liquidity to fill the entire quantity at any stored order-book level.
The Syndicates Price Check is a public EVE market appraisal powered by EVE Syndicates Market Intelligence. Market orders are ingested from CCP ESI into the EVE Syndicates database and the page shows how old the current market snapshot is.
## Price meanings
**Top Buy** is the current highest buy order multiplied by the requested quantity. It is a top-of-book reference and does not assume enough quantity exists at that one price.
**Immediate Sell** is quantity-aware. The Price Check starts at the highest buy order and walks downward through the stored buy-order price levels until your requested quantity is filled or market liquidity runs out. The displayed average is the volume-weighted average actually available for that quantity.
**Split** is the midpoint between the current highest buy and lowest sell prices. It is useful as a neutral appraisal reference but it is not a guarantee that a trade can execute at that price.
**Immediate Buy** is quantity-aware. The Price Check starts at the lowest sell order and walks upward through sell-order price levels until the requested quantity is filled or market liquidity runs out.
**Top Sell** is the current lowest sell order multiplied by the requested quantity. Like Top Buy, it is a top-of-book reference rather than a full-liquidity estimate.
## Liquidity and partial fills
Immediate pricing shows the percentage of the requested quantity that can be filled from the currently ingested order book. When the result is below 100%, Price Check also shows the unfilled quantity. The immediate total represents only the quantity that can actually be filled from the stored levels.
Duplicate lines for the same item are combined before the order book is walked. This prevents the same market liquidity from being counted more than once.
## Multi-hub comparison
The hub cards compare Jita, Amarr, Dodixie, Rens, and Hek from the same resolved appraisal. They do not submit the item list to the Price Check API five additional times. Each hub uses the local EVE Syndicates order-book data for Immediate Sell and Immediate Buy totals.
PLEX uses the Global PLEX Market rather than an NPC trade-station order book.
## Market freshness
The Market Intelligence bar shows the age of the most recent successful ingest. Freshness matters because EVE market orders can move between ingests. Always consider the displayed data age before making a high-value trade.
## Price adjustment
Price adjustment changes displayed prices and totals by the chosen percentage. It does not change order-book liquidity or pretend additional orders exist. A 100% fill remains a 100% fill and a partial fill remains partial.
## Reprocessing
Existing reprocessing comparisons remain available. Reprocessing material valuation uses the configured Amarr market data while the ordinary appraisal uses the hub selected on the Price Check form.
New Pilot Guidance
New pilots: Top Buy and Top Sell are only the best visible single price levels. For large quantities, Immediate Sell and Immediate Buy are usually the more realistic numbers because they account for the available quantity at multiple prices.
