Where to Get Help When Something Breaks

TroubleshootingPublicApplicantProvisional MemberUpdated 2026-08-15 19:53:49
Quick Answer

Open ? Help on the problem page, check System Status when an integration may be down, then send a Question/Bug through the site if the issue remains.

If something breaks, do not fight the site for an hour. Gather useful information and ask staff.

Include these details when asking for help:

- Your EVE character name.
- Your Discord display name.
- The page URL that failed.
- What you clicked or tried to submit.
- The exact error message if there is one.
- Whether you are on phone or desktop.
- A screenshot if it does not expose private information.

Common fixes:

- Refresh the page once.
- Log out and back in with the correct EVE character.
- Check whether you linked Discord.
- Confirm your corp invite/member status if you are provisional.
- Ask staff if your role looks wrong.

For EVE account or official game account issues, use EVE Online support. For CMS/corp workflow issues, use corp staff or the HelpBot/Help Desk.

New Pilot Guidance

Include the page name, what you expected, what happened, and any visible error message. That is much more useful than only saying 'it doesn't work.'
