How to Use Price Check

Quick Answer

Paste the item list into Price Check, review the Amarr-based values and selected percentage, then copy the result you need.

Price Check helps you estimate the value of items before you submit contracts, sell loot, plan builds, or compare market values.

Basic flow:

1. Open Price Check.
2. Paste an item list. Common formats usually include quantity and item name.
3. Run the lookup.
4. Review the results and totals.
5. Use the result as an estimate, not as a guaranteed sale price.

Tips for clean results:

- One item per line is easiest.
- Include quantities when possible.
- Check for spelling issues if an item does not resolve.
- If you paste a very large list, give the page time to finish.
- If the CMS says it uses Amarr pricing, assume the estimate is based on Amarr unless the page says otherwise.

Price Check is especially useful before submitting corp contracts or deciding whether loot is worth hauling. If the result looks wrong, ask staff and include the pasted item list.

New Pilot Guidance

Market prices move over time. Price Check is an estimate based on the CMS pricing source, not a guaranteed future sale price.
